Membership Requirements
The Widows Sons welcome Master Masons, Fellow Crafts, and Entered Apprentices who share our love of riding and brotherhood.
To become a member, you must:
- Be a Mason in good standing — Entered Apprentice (EA), Fellow Craft (FC), or Master Mason (MM)
- Own and operate a running motorcycle of 500cc or greater
- Complete and submit a Petition for Membership to your local chapter
Entered Apprentices and Fellow Crafts are encouraged to ride and take part in chapter activities but are not eligible for full patching until they’ve been raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason.
Some chapters may have additional membership requirements, such as:
- Being a Master Mason in good standing
- Completing a Waiver and Release of Liability
- Being sponsored by an existing chapter member in good standing
- Submitting applicable dues and fees at the time of petitioning
- Participating in a minimum number of chapter rides or meetings before petitioning
- Completing a probationary period before receiving the full patch
Not yet a Mason? We can help connect you with a lodge and guide you through the process of becoming one. Bringing good men into the Craft is part of who we are.
